SHIRK AND BID'AH LIST FOUND TODAY IN MUSLIM SOCIETY TILL DATE:

Shirk n bid'ah check list, what follows is a list of some common innovations and practices that oppose the sunnah and that are widespread especially amongst the sub-continent. Do you fall into any of these practices.

❌-Going to the Dargah 
❌- Wearing taveez or amulets or going to the black Magician

❌- Celebrating Shab-e-ba’rat (15th of Shaban)

❌- Nazar O Niyaz

❌- Utaara 

❌- Celebrating Milaad un Nabi (celebrating Prophet Muhammad salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam birthday)

❌- Giyarwee shareef (in the name of Sheikh Abdul Qader Jeelani)

❌- Seeking aid from the dead

❌- Playing Qawalli in the Masjids

❌- Arrogantly throwing money on naat reciters

❌- Seeking tabarruk through the belongings of a peer

❌- Travelling half way across the world to visit a shrine

❌- Wiping the face after duaa

❌- Reciting naats after the funeral prayer

❌- Giving adhaan at the grave side after the burial of the dead

❌- Believing the Prophet is noor from the noor of Allah

❌- Doing Istikhara for others

❌- Salat al-Ghausia 

❌- Teeja 

❌- Daswaan (10 day)

❌- Chaliswaan (40 day)

❌- Barsi (Anniversary of the dead)

❌- Durrod e Taj 

❌- Durood e Akbar 

❌- Durood e Ghousia

❌- Khatam e Ghousia

❌- Khatam e Qadria 

❌- Khatam e Khwajgan 

❌- Khatam e Shifa

❌- Saying out Loud intention for prayer

❌- Spinning around in circles in the masjid

❌- Salat al Ragihaaib

❌- Saying Jumuah Mubarak 

❌- Saying Sadaqa Allahul Adheem after recitation of Quraan

❌- Making group dua'a after the congregational prayer

❌- Doing Dhikr after salah on seeds.

❌- Gathering to recite Yasin and make tasbeeh and send rewards to the dead

❌- Kunday (in the name of jaffer sadiq)

❌- Kissing cloths used to cover tombs of saints and using them to seek nearness to Allah

❌- Swinging the head from side to side whilst repeating ALLAH Hu ALLAH HU or Allah Allah

❌- Gathering after Jumuah prayer to recite salawaat as a congregation

❌- Reciting made up wazeefas from peer 

(e.g recite such and such 999 times for good health)

❌- Believing the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam  knew when the final hour would occur

❌- Believing the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam had ilm-e-gayb (he knows the knowledge of unseen & everything)

❌- Believing prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam is alive & listens & comes down to the places.

❌- Kissing the thumbs and wiping eyes when hearing the Prophets salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam name

❌- Urs Mubarak (Celebrating the festivals of saints that have passed away on a yearly basis)

Acts of Bidats found in the death houses of our Muslim community, these are to be avoided. As they are baseless and no proofs in hadith found

1. 🌟Reciting yaseen for dead
2. 🌟Conducting Fatiha, sathwasa, chaliswa, barsi for dead.
3. 🌟Conducting Halka and zikr for dead
4. 🌟Inviting people for feast in deceased house
5. 🌟Building tombs on grave and writing on grave
6. 🌟Reciting talqeen near grave
7. 🌟Grieving for the whole year
8. 🌟Wearing black dress as sign of sadness
9. 🌟Lighting agarbattis and lamps near body
10. 🌟Lighting the entrance of house, Hoping that the dead soul will come back
11. 🌟Family members to strive on hunger till the body is buried.
12. 🌟Sending out menstrual ladies from the houses of dead
13. 🌟Flowers and Garlands
14. 🌟Throwing Rose water on Janaza and in Qabr
15. 🌟Doing Musafaha with dead Family
16. 🌟Doing sadaqa on food which dead liked the most.
17. 🌟Reciting Quran for dead

NOTE

It's the collection of habits done by name sake muslims in the name of Islam which contradicts with quran & sahih hadith. & practices of Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam & sahaba radhi allahu hu anhum.

May Allah guide us and save from all these bidahs.
