138. Surah Aal-e-Imran, Aayat No 16

الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Those who say: Our Lord! surely we believe, therefore forgive us our faults and save us from the chastisement of the fire.

When the world brings you to tears, let your tears bring you to your knees for it is only then will you realize your trial is a breeze.

Remind yourself that He is Al-Wadood,(The Most Loving) He will listen to your prayers when you cry to Him in Sujood.

He will not brush you aside nor will He ever leave you behind, He will bring Noor (light) and Sukoon (peace) to your heart and to your mind.

So drop to your knees, and call for as long as you can, He will answer your cries for He is Al-Mannan (The Beneficiant Bestower Of Bounties).

"Three duas will not be rejected by Allah Subhanahu wa taala:
Dua'a of a parent for his child,
Dua'a of the one who is fasting &
Dua'a of a traveller"
Tirmidhi

Alhamdulillah, Allah has blessed us with the most Blessed month of Ramadan.

And Allah Subhanahu wa taala never ever abandons the prayer of a fasting person.

Hence make heartfelt duas to your Rabb and In Shaa Allah you'll see Him answering all your duas in no time.

May Allah Subhanahu wa taala Bless you, forgive you and protect you in every step you take.

May only the BEST of Jannah be reserved for kind souls such as yourself & your family.

May all your dreams and desires be fulfilled in this Dunya and Aakhirah.

May Allah Subhanahu wa taala accept all our Duaa's on this Auspicious Day of Jum'ah and bring Barakah in all our homes.

May the Almighty Allah Subhanahu wa taala solve all our problems, difficulties, calamities & help us make the right decision, guide us on the right path & protect us all always.

Ya Allah help us to make the utmost of this Blessed month of Ramadan and shower your choicest blessings upon us and our families.

Trust Allah, Love Allah. Whatever He does, is always THE BEST for us. Have complete Tawakkul in Him.

Ya Allah, grant all our deceased Jannat-ul-Firdous, place Noor in their Qabr's & allow us all to reunite with them in Jannah.

Ya Rabbul Aalameen, please forgive us and the entire Ummah for our faults. Save us all from the torment of the pandemic and shower your choicest blessings upon the entire world

Ya Allah, please accept these duas in the favour of all of us and the entire Ummah. Grant us all your choicest blessings today and always.

137. Surah Al-Isra, Aayat No 80

And say: My Lord! make me to enter a goodly entering, and cause me to go forth a goodly going forth, and grant me from near Thee power to assist (me).

Heyy Believer, You will have different phases and stages in your life that you often can’t control as much as you’d like to.

It’s important that in each, you adopt the right attitude, make the right effort, and most importantly, accept that you’ve entered this stage of life by the will of Allah Subhanahu wa taala.

How many of us refuse to embrace it and as a result, we spend a painful period of time battling stress and emotional turmoil, which we aren't supposed to.

Always Remember that everything that happens to you is by the will of Allah Subhanahu wa taala and is for your own good.

The case and matter of a believer is always Khair (Good). We may not understand it but it's a promise of Allah. We need to believe in it.

We need to get rid of the negative barrier in our heads and infuse positive vibes to live life with Happiness and Peace.

When we make duaa, it should hold that conviction that In Shaa Allah, Allah is going to bless you with it and if He doesn't there is something better waiting out for you there in future.

Don't forget, you are asking the Lord Of The Worlds, nothing is too much for Him.. and nothing is impossible for Him.. Ask whatever you want and In Shaa Allah if it's good for you surely your Rabb will bless you with it at the right time for the right reason. And if not, then He'll bless you with something much greater than you've asked for.

Trust your Rabb and Have complete Tawakkul in Him, InShaAllah unexpected good miracles await you sooon.

136. Surah An-Noor, Aayat No 52

وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَيَخْشَ اللَّهَ وَيَتَّقْهِ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَائِزُونَ

And he who obeys Allah and His Apostle, and fears Allah, and is careful of (his duty to) Him, these it is that are the achievers.

Whoever is watchful towards Allah’s boundaries will be under His watchful care and protection In Shaa Allah.

For is there anyone who has achieved closeness to Allah and not found that with Him is everything that they need and desire?

No one has attained success except by going against their ego’s desires, and no one has suffered failure except by preferring the worldly life over the afterlife.

This Ramadan, learn to starve your ego and feed your soul. To be amongst the achievers needs a beginning first and then In Shaa Allah slowly and steadily you'll achieve closeness to your Creator and find your peace

Build your connection with your Rabb through heart felt duas, loads of dhikr, Salah, Charity, good deeds and be patient.

And Allah Subhanahu wa taala is Al-Khabeer(The Aware). He is the maker of your heart, He knows your heart, He knows what your gonna tell Him but SubhanAllah your Rabb still listens to you. He grants you that peace post your sincere duas, He increases you in your Tawakkul towards Him and blesses you with what's BEST for you.

135. The Mahr (Dowry) Is The Right Of The Wife

Question:
Assalamualaikum,I would like to know the Islamic view point
of Dowry.  Is it permisible or is it a sin?  If it is wrong, what
should a person do who has taken dowry?

Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.

In Islam the mahr (dowry) is one of the rights of the wife,
which is hers to take in total and is lawful for her, in contrast
to the widespread practice in some countries, where the wife
is given no dowry. Evidence that the wife must be given her
dowry is found in many places, for example the aayah
(interpretation of the meaning): “And give to the women
(whom you marry) their mahr (obligatory bridal money given
by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage) with a
good heart…” [al-Nisaa’ 4:4]

Ibn ‘Abbaas said: “This refers to the mahr (dowry).”

Ibn Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him, said,
summarizing the comments of the mufassireen on this
aayah: “The man must definitely pay the dowry to the
woman, and he should not resent it.”
Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“But if you intend to replace a wife by another and you have
given one of them a cantar (of gold, i.e., a great amount) as
mahr, take not the least bit of it back; would you take it
wrongfully without a right and (with) a manifest sin? And
how could you take it (back) when you have gone in unto
each other, and they have taken from you a firm and strong
covenant?” [al-Nisaa’ 4:20-21]

Ibn Katheer, may Allaah have mercy on him, said:
“This means: if any one of you wants to divorce his wife and
replace her with another, you should not take anything from
what you have already given the first wife, even if it
was a huge amount of wealth. The mahr is given in exchange
for the right to enjoy marital relations. For this reason Allaah
says (interpretation of the meaning): “And how could you take
it (back) when you have gone in unto each other…?” The
“firm and strong covenant” is the marriage contract.

Anas ibn Maalik, may Allaah be pleased with him, reported
that ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn ‘Awf came to the Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and
there were traces of yellow (perfume) on him. The Messenger
of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) asked
him about it, and he told him that he had just married a woman
 of the Ansaar.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
asked him, “How much did you give her?”
He said: “Gold
equal to the weight of one date stone.”
 The Messenger of
Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“Give a waleemah (wedding feast) even if only with one sheep.”
 (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 4756).

The mahr is the right of the wife, and it is not permitted for
her father or anyone else to take it except with her approval.
Abu Saalih said: “When a man married off his daughter, he
would take her mahr away from her, but Allaah forbade them
to do that, and gave women the right to the mahr they
received.” (Tafseer Ibn Katheer).

Similarly, if the wife foregoes any part of the mahr, the
husband is permitted to take it, as Allaah says
(interpretation of the meaning): “… but if they, of their own
good pleasure, remit any part of it, take it, and enjoy it
without fear of any harm (as Allaah has made it lawful).”
[al-Nisaa’ 4:4]

And Allaah knows best.

133. Surah At-Taghabun, Aayat No 11

No affliction comes about but by Allah's permission; and whoever believes in Allah, He guides aright his heart; and Allah is Cognizant of all things.

When things don't work out the way we want, Allah Subhanahu wa taala has something better planned.

You may not end up where you thought you'd be, but you will always end up where you're meant to be, right where Allah Subhanahu wa taala intended you to be all along!

Have faith, do not lose hope and wait patiently. Indeed Allah does not let the reward of the patient go in vain.

Through afflictions Allah Subhanahu wa taala only tests your faith; He is completely aware of your condition.

Everyday that you persevere, you grow closer to perfection. Thus your present despair may be beginning of an infinite blessing.

Allah Subhanahu wa taala was the one who took you out of that situation OR He will after He tests your patience and faith in Him OR maybe He just wants to take something away from you to replace it with thought better.

SubhanAllah! Just imagine how your creator can change your life in just a day!!

Allah Subhanahu wa taala is always in control of all our affairs.

All we have to do is to perceive Patiently and have complete Faith & Tawakkul in all His doings

132. Surah Az-Zumar, Aayat No 10

Say: O my servants who believe! be careful of (your duty to) your Lord; for those who do good in this world is good, and Allah's earth is spacious; only the patient will be paid back their reward in full without measure.

Never feel sad on losing anything in your life because whenever a tree loses it's leaf a new leaf is ready to takes it's place. Similarly when you lose something in life Allah Subhanahu wa taala replaces it with something much better than before.

Whenever Allah Subhanahu wa taala gives a blessing to a servant,
and then Allah takes it away from the servant, and the servant patiently endures his loss, then In Shaa Allah Allah Subhanahu wa taala rewards the Servant with a blessing which is far better than the one Allah took away.

Always Remember, HARDSHIPS ARE A TEST FROM ALLAH. They are our building blocks of Imaan. So dearest believer, when affliction touches you, Be PATIENT and STEADFAST, Seek help from Allah alone and remember Allah does not burden a soul more than it can bear.

Certainly testing is a station for a while (i.e. it is temporary). It will In Shaa Allah go away soon
But remember, Affliction erases the sins of a believer just as the leaves fall from a tree.

As mentioned in a Hadith narrated by: Abu Sa`eed Al-Khudri and Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنهما that The Prophet said,
“No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that.” Sahih Al Bukhari

Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه also narrated that
The Messenger sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said,
“If Allah wants to do good to somebody, He afflicts him with trials.” Sahih Al Bukhari

So SubhanAllah! When you are afflicted with trials remember, Allah brought you to this for your own good and to bless you even more than before.

O Believer Smile and endure your trials patiently, cause Indeed the rewards of being Patient are abundant and beautiful In Shaa Allah

131. Good Manners

Know that Allāh admitted a prostitute into Jannah because she gave a drink to a dog that was thirsty.

What will be the case for the one who feeds others, giving them drink and removing hardships from them!

Ibn al-Mubārak رحمه الله had a Jewish neighbor. He would always feed him before feeding his own children and would provide clothing for him first and then for his children. Some people said to the Jewish neighbour, “Sell us your house.” He answered, “My house is for 2000 dīnārs. 1000 is for the house and 1000 is for having Ibn al-Mubārak as a neighbor!” Ibn al-Mubārak heard of this and he exclaimed, “O Allāh, guide him to Islām.” By the permission of Allāh, he accepted Islām.

On another occasion, Ibn al-Mubārak رحمه الله passed by a caravan of people who were travelling to make the pilgrimage to Makkah. He too was on his way to do the same. He saw one of the women take a dead crow from a cesspit. He sent his servant to inquire about this and when he asked her, she replied, “We have had nothing for three days except that which finds its way into it.” When Ibn al-Mubārak رحمه الله heard of this, his eyes swelled with tears. He ordered for all of his provision to be distributed among those of the caravan, and having nothing with which to continue the journey, he returned to his home and gave up making the pilgrimage for that year. Later, he saw someone in a dream saying, “Your pilgrimage has been accepted, as have your rites; and your sins have been forgiven.”

No one regrets having done well even if he was extravagant in doing so.

Regret is only for the mistake or for the wrong done, even when that wrong is a minor one.

Good manners lead to prosperity, while bad ones lead to misery.

Nabī sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said:
"Through good manners, one reaches the status of the person who not only fasts but who also stands late in the night to pray."

Nabī sallallahu alaihi wa sallam also said:
"Shall I not inform you of the most beloved to me and the closest to me on the Day of Resurrection: Those of you who are best in manners."

130. Not Once, But TWICE Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala Mentions In

Surah Al-Inshirah, Aayat No 5
فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
Surely with difficulty is ease.

Surah Al-Inshirah, Aayat No 6
إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا
With difficulty is surely ease.

Allah Subhanahu wa taala gives us hardships to bring us closer to Him, and for many of us they are a means of gaining His love.

However, when everything is well, when the sea is calm - we relax.

We stop making heartfelt duaa, our tears dry up, we become so mesmerized by our happiness that we forget that Shukr (thankfulness) goes hand in hand with Sabr (patience).

In turn we think we're safe - through the laziness of our worship.

Wasn't our hardship a blessing in disguise, because whatever we lose will be compensated in Paradise?

We need to use our hardships to perfect our worship when it's calm, so when lightening strikes we have the ability to bare the tests.

Allah Subhanahu wa taala is with those who are Patient at the turn of calamities and those who call upon Him not only at the time of Hardships but also ease.

The true test of a believer is at the time of ease.

So when your heart is at ease and your soul feels peaceful, Say Alhamdulillah, Bow down in sujood and Thank your Rabb for the abundant blessings He showered upon you.

Don't forget, even the ability to blink your eyes every second is a big blessing from Allah Subhanahu wa taala

Increase in gratitude towards your Rabb for His infinite blessings upon you and In Shaa Allah He'll bless you with abundance.

129. Beautiful One Liners

Give Allah what's right, not what's left.

A lot of kneeling, will keep you in good standing.

He who kneels before Allah, can stand before anyone.

Don't put a question mark where, Allah puts a full stop.

Give Satan an inch and he will be a ruler.

When praying, don't give Allah instructions, just report for duty.

We don't change Allah's message, His message changes us.

Warning: Exposure to Allah may prevent burning.

Most people want to serve Allah, but only in an advisory position.

Never give the devil a ride He will always want to drive.

Nothing else ruins the truth like stretching it.

Compassion is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back.

Allah doesn't call the qualified He qualifies the called.

128. Surah At-Talaq, Aayat No 3

And He will provide him from where he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things

Allah Subhanahu wa taala is Ar-Razaq(The Provider), Al-Fatah(The Opener) & Al-Aleem(The All-Knowing)

Alhamdulillah, all of us are showered with abundant blessings and peace of mind, even when things seem chaotic and unfair.

To be alive and surrounded by a few who love us, food on our tables and a shelter to survive in is all we’ll ever need in Duniya.

Our eyes will see so much more once we begin to open our mind to the world around us. Alhamdulillah we're all so blessed.

Submit to the will of Allah and depend upon Him alone.

He is the One who takes care of all affairs.

He gives to whomever He wills and withholds from whomever He wills only for their betterment.

He makes powerful and noble whom He wills and makes weak and ignoble whom He wills only for their good.

So be pleased with what He has assigned for you, even if some things may be seemingly discomforting.

In Shaa Allah, He will provide ways for you from where you haven't even imagined and will bless you abundantly.

Trust Allah Subhanahu wa taala with all your matters. If not today, tomorrow, if not tomorrow then day after. In Shaa Allah everything will fall in place soon.

Don't worry. He knows all that your heart desires even before your tongue utters it. Trust His timings.

Your Rabb sees your struggles
Your Rabb knows your fears
Your Rabb is all aware of the worries that seize your heart

Just keep praying & have complete Faith & Tawakkul in Him. In Shaa Allah all your Duas will be answered soon!!

In Shaa Allah you'll be blessed in abundance from unexpected places cause your Rabb, For whom nothing is impossible, is the controller of all your affairs.

127. Yawning In Islam

Abu Saeed al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:
"If any of you yawns, let him cover his mouth lest the Shaytaan enter." (Abu Dawud)

Abu Saeed al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allaah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:
"If any of you feels the urge to yawn, let him resist it as much as possible, lest the Shaytaan enter his mouth." (Imaam Ahmad)

According to another report also narrated by Imaam Ahmad, Shaytaan enters when a person yawns. (Saheeh al-Jaami’, 426)

126. It's Yaum-ul-Jummah Today

Alhamdulillah It's Yaum-ul-Jummah today, The BEST day of the week.

Alhamdulillah, It has been our weekly routine to read the beautiful Surah Al-Kahf every Friday. There are some very important lessons we need to take back from the Surah.

The surah revolves around 4 different stories. It may seem that none of these stories are related to one another, but we see that the purpose of all these stories are one: TRIALS

This surah explains Trials in different aspects of life.
1) Trial of Religion (Story of the People of the Cave)
2) Trial of Wealth (Story of the Man with Two Gardens)
3) Trial of Knowledge (Story of Mus aalayhi wa sallam and Khidr alayhi wa sallam)
4) Trial of Power (Dhul Qarnain)

Each of these stories outline how each of these 4 things can bring us Trials. It also outlines how the believer should approach these trials and tribulations.

Trial of Religion (Story of the People of the Cave)

“And keep yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and afternoon, seeking His Face, and let not your eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp and glitter of the life of the world; and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our Remembrance, one who follows his own lusts and whose affair (deeds) has been lost.”
(Surah Al-Kahf: Aayat No 28)

So if you are faced with trials because of your religion, the solution is to Be PATIENT, to be in the company of the righteous and build a connection with Allah Subhanahu wa taala through His remembrance. This will give you strength to persevere In Shaa Allah.

Don't be fascinated with the pleasures of the world. They are all temporary. Whats to remain is your relationship with Allah Subhanahu wa taala

Make it a routine to indulge yourself in Dhikr; Morning & Evening just for sometime. Even if it's just for 10 mins. Alhamdulillah we're blessed with 24 hrs a day. Removing 20 mins shouldn't be difficult. In Shaa Allah you'll find a remarkable difference in your life and your connection with your Rabb.

Let us learn about the 2nd trial in Surah Al-Kahf

The Trial of Wealth (Story of the Men and Two Gardens)

2) Fitnah of Wealth

“Wealth and children are the adornment of the life of this world. But the good righteous deeds that last, are better with your Lord for rewards and better in respect of hope.”
(Surah Al-Kahf: Aayat No 46)

So the way to deal with the trials of wealth is to realize the reality of this worldly life. It is temporary, while the hereafter is everlasting. Everything that's ours here we are going to leave and go. Except for our righteous deeds In Shaa Allah.

Deeds that are done solely for the purpose of pleasing our Creator and not His creation.

Allah Subhanahu wa taala says:
إِنَّمَأ أَمْوَلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَـدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ

"Your wealth and your children are only a trial, whereas Allah! With Him is a great reward (Paradise)."(64:15)

We should strive to make the money that we possess and the children that Allah Subhanahu wa taala has blessed us with; a Sadqa-e-Jaria for us in Duniya & in the Aakhirah.

During this global pandemic; Alhamdulillah we have such a brilliant opportunity to do so many righteous deeds by lending some part of our wealth or do some good deed to benefit others during these times of difficulty.

Utilise your wealth in the right cause. Give your Zakaat and purify your wealth. And remember, Allah Subhanahu wa taala says that He gives more to the ones who give others and He also gives more to the ones who are grateful for what they have.

Alhamdulillah we're blessed far more than we can imagine. It's the bounty and grace of our Rabb. Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah. Remember everything that you have is from Him alone.

So when Allah Blesses you, you bless others and InShaAllah you'll see how He, Your Rabb will bless you in abundance.

Let us learn about the 3rd trial in Surah Al-Kahf

The Trial of Knowledge (Story of Musa alayhi wa sallam and Khidr alayhi wa sallam)

3) Fitnah of Knowledge

“If Allah wills, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught.” (Surah Al-Kahf: Aayat No 64)

The way to deal with this trial is to remain humble and not to let your knowledge delude you.

Remember, Know & Understand that Allah Subhanahu wa taala is Al-Khabeer(The all knowing) of the seen and the unseen.

Everything that happens is for a good reason, We might not be able to see it but we should learn to trust it.

And Indeed Sabr teaches us great lessons. Sabr & Smile are the best alternatives and Patience & Prayer are the best tools of a believer in this life

The Trial of Power (Dhul Qarnain))

️4) Fitnah of Power

“Say: ‘Shall We tell you the greatest losers in respect of (their) deeds? Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their deeds!” (Surah Al-Kahf: Aayat No 103-104)

So the way to deal with the Fitnah of power is to have sincerity in your deeds to Allah. Do it for Him alone. And Expect a reward from Him alone.

Be humble and kind in all your doings. Fear from the displeasure of breaking hearts and hurting others.

When in power, let your politeness speak and not your arrogance. Always remember that Allah loves those who are kind, gentle and compassionate towards others.

Be gentle in your behavior towards others. Don't boost your acquisitions. Don't humiliate. Be kind and compassionate in character.

Let you, a Muslim be known by his character and that's where the beauty of Islam will showcase

"The BEST of you, is the one who has the BEST of character" Al-Bukhari

Ending of the Surah: This Surah ends with the most perfect way to deal with all types of trials, and that is to remember the hereafter and your Rabb and stay away from shirk.

“So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord.” (Surah Al-Kahf: Aayat No 110)

!! Something to definitely reflect when we read it every Friday. The surah is filled with wisdoms and the best is when we reflect and ponder upon them to take back and implement what Allah Subhanahu wa taala is telling us.

May Allah Subhanahu wa taala help us reflect and ponder upon this beautiful Surah every Friday, Help us implement on its wisdom.
May Allah help us to be kind and compassionate towards others.
May He grant us the BEST character and be pleased with all of us..
May all the worries of the Ummah fade away.
May Allah Subhanahu wa taala help us remain patient at every step in life.
May He relieve us all from this pandemic soon.
May He allow us to enter the Blessed month of Ramadan with Khushoo.
May He bless you, your families and the entire Ummah with good health, peace, goodness, prosperity and happiness with Aafiyat & Barakat,
May all your duas be answered & May we all have a blessed day.
May Allah Subhanahu wa taala make it easy and help us indulge in His Dhikr.
May Allah Subhanahu wa taala accept our zakaat/charity.

 Aameen Ya Rabbul Aalameen

125. Surah Ar-Rum, Aayat No 6

فَاصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَا يَسْتَخِفَّنَّكَ الَّذِينَ لَا يُوقِنُونَ

Therefore be patient; surely the promise of Allah is true and let not those who have no certainty hold you in light estimation.

Sabr is more than Patience. Sabr is the way you deal with hardship while waiting for it to pass. It is also accepting your situation as the will of Allah Subhaana wa taala.

Sabr is the strength of your soul. It teaches you not to break when you bent.

Sabr is suppressing that angry voice in your head, and learning to channel it towards a heartfelt du'a instead.

Sabr is forgiving someone when they dismiss your feelings.

Sabr is meeting those who deserted you, with a smile, even though your tears are one step away from exposing you.

Sabr is staying silent because you’ve already stated your point too many times before.

Sabr is conforming to someone’s demand because of their right over you.

Sabr is fulfilling the rights of others even when they transgress against yours.

Sabr is crying about your heartache in front of Allah and no one else.

Sabr is believing wholeheartedly that Allah has beautiful things in store for you.

Sabr is crawling forward even when you want to stop and give up.

Sabr is worth it!! Every single second of it is so worth it because ALLAH SUBHANAHU WA TAALA LOVES THOSE WHO ARE PATIENT.

And it’s worth going through the worst of the worst if it means that it will gain you Allah Subhanahu wa taala’s love. SubhanAllah! The love of The Lord Of The Worlds In Shaa Allah.

124. Surah Al-Baqarah, Aayat No 183

O you who believe! fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may become Al-Muttaqun(pious)

Abu Hurayrah radiyallaahu ‘anhu said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
“Every deed of the son of Adam will be multiplied between ten and seven hundred times. Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, said: Except fasting. It is for Me and I shall reward for it. He gives up his desires and his food for My sake.” Muslim (1151)

SubhanAllah!

Indeeed isn't it Beautiful that Allah Subhanahu wa taala Himself will reward us for Fasting. Just imagine the reward of The Lord Of The Worlds In Shaa Allah. It will be the most greatest and the most unique.

The Order to Fast
In an address to the believers of this Ummah, Allah Subhanahu wa taala ordered them to fast, that is, to abstain from food, drink and sexual activity with the intention of doing so sincerely for Allah the Exalted alone. This is because fasting purifies the souls and cleanses them from the all evil

Allah Subhanahu wa taala said in this Aayat "Fasting is a means of attaining Taqwa and becoming Al-Muttaqun(pious)"

Taqwa is based on 3 things
Fear Allah
Love Allah
Hope in Allah

When we fear Allah the way HE SHOULD BE FEARED
When we love Allah the way HE SHOULD BE LOVED
When we have complete hope in Allah the way HE ASKS US TO HAVE HOPE IN HIM

The people of Taqwa are the most successful people in this life and in the hereafter where they will be the dwellers of Paradise In Shaa Allah.

️May Allah Subhanahu wa taala help us become the righteous people of Taqwa in this blessed month and bless all our lives with Aafiyat and Barakat in abundance.

123. Surah Al-Fatiha, Aayat No 6

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ

Guide us to the straight path

The path of peace, The path of righteousness, The path of steadfastness, The path of purity, The path of goodness, the path of the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu wa taala.

The greatest of all the Gifts from Allah Subhanahu wa taala is HIDAYAT. He blesses those with it whom He wills.

So if Allah Subhanahu wa taala has blessed us with hidayah (guidance) what more do we want?
We will be the happiest people in the Duniya and Aakhirah In Shaa Allah.

And if not, then it's not too late. In Shaa Allah we can strive in the path of Allah according to His commands, seek His love, grace and mercy and be blessed with the greatest of all gifts i.e Hidayat

“Amazing are the affairs of a believer! They are all for his benefit; If he is granted ease of living he is thankful; and this is best for him. And if he is afflicted with a hardship, he perseveres; and this is best for him.” [Muslim 2999]

Allah Subhanahu wa taala has always blessed us in every single way yet sometimes we do not realize and recognize, we only pick on certain things that our soul may be desiring and we keep on saying, “Ya Allah! You did not give me this. You did not give me that.”

But when you look at the favors of your Lord, they are plenty. They are innumerable.

So be grateful in all circumstances and ask Allah to always guide you to the straight path with sincerity.

May Allah Subhanahu wa taala grant us all HIDAYAT, guide us towards the path that He loves, move us away from the path He dislikes and always make us amongst the grateful.

122. Surah Aal-e-Imran, Aayat No 160

If Allah assists you, then there is none that can overcome you, and if He forsakes you, who is there then that can assist you after Him? And on Allah should the believers rely.

When you rely on Allah Subhanahu wa taala for all your affairs, that's when you experience ultimate peace

Trust that when you Knock, He'll open the door for you

Remember, when you feel low and Vanish, He'll make you shine like the sun

Never forget when you fall, He'll  raise you up to the heavens

Become nothing, And He'll turn you into everything.

Allah Subhanahu wa taala is capable of creating and opening for you doors of opportunity that didn't exist, for He is Al-Fattah (The Opener)

So trust Him, beg to Him and call out to Him alone. For surely it is He alone who can provide for you! Provide for you from ways you never imagined

Rely on Him alone and Have complete Faith & Tawakkul in Him. He's brought you to it, He alone will bring you through it

Endure difficult times by being Patient cause the Rewards of being Patience is way beyond our imagination. And never forget, Allah Subhanahu wa taala loves those who are Patient.

121. Surah Al-Mulk, Aayat No 2

Who created death and life that He may try you-- which of you is best in deeds; and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving,

In all cases, trials can be good for the true believer.

If he is tested with prosperity, he should remain grateful and he will receive a reward which is much greater than his test.

If he is tested with hardship, he should remain patient and he will receive a reward which is much greater than his hardship.

Suhaib reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
"Wondrous is the affair of the believer for there is good for him in every matter and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If he is happy, then he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him. If he is harmed, then he shows patience and thus there is good for him." Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2999

Trials can be a sign that Allah Subhanahu wa taala intends good for us, because through trials our sins are expiated and we have the opportunity to perform more good deeds.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

"If Allah intends good for someone, then he afflicts him with trials." Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5321

So when hardships befall upon you O believer, Be grateful and don't lose hope.

Your Rabb is making you strong, getting you closer to Him and is just increasing your Faith.

120. Surah Al-Mumenoon, Aayat No 80

وَهُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ وَلَهُ اخْتِلَافُ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ

And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand?

No matter what knocks you down in life, get back up and keep going.

Always remember "Verily with Hardship comes Ease."

When Allah Subhanahu wa taala turns the night into day, He Indeed, can turn your Difficulties into Ease, Tears into Smiles,
Sadness into Prosperity, etc

Never give up. Great blessings are a result of great perseverance.

Allah Subhanahu wa taala is with those who are Patient.

Talking about our problems is our greatest addiction. Break the habit.

Instead,Talk about your joys and Be grateful and thankful to Allah Subhanahu wa taala for all your blessings.

Good things come to those who BELIEVE,
Better things come to those who are PATIENT,
Best things come to those who DON'T GIVE UP.

Don't be upset on what's gone by, rather prepare yourself for the beautiful surprise that's In Shaa Allah going to come for you.

119. Listening To Surah Al-Kahf Instead Of Reading It

By Asma bint Shameem

Question
Can I just listen to the recitation of Sūrah al-Kahf on Fridays instead of actually reading it?

Although listening to the Qur’aan is an amazing deed that’s rewarded by Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala, the ahaadeeth that mention the great rewards of Surah al-Kahf talk about READING the Surah and NOT just listening to it.

For example:
“Whoever READS Soorat al-Kahf on Friday, Allaah will bestow upon him light between those two Fridays.” (al-Bayhaqi- saheeh by al-Albaani)

“Whoever READS Surah al-Kahf on the night of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (the Ka’bah).” (al-Daarimi- saheeh by al-Albaani)

So just simply LISTENING to the Surah is NOT the same as READING it.  And the rewards of actually READING the Surah may not be achieved.

 The scholars said:
“With regard to simply listening, without reading, the one who does that is not regarded as reciting or reading it, even though listening to it is a prescribed act of worship and is something that is required. But he will not necessarily attain the same reward and virtue as the one who reads it. We do not know of any evidence to suggest any basis for regarding the acts as equal. Based on that, whoever wants to attain the virtue mentioned in the hadiths has to read the surah; it is not sufficient simply to listen to it.”  (Islamqa Fatwa 228366)

ANOTHER POINT
Now, that  is for the one who KNOWS how to read the Qur’an.

But what about the one who does NOT know HOW to read it?

Such people can do the following:
1. Learn to read the Qur’an as soon as you’re able. You’re missing out on something amazing.

2. If you want to achieve the rewards of reading Surah al-Kahf on Fridays, put on the recitation of this Noble Surah AND ALSO open up the Mus-haf at the same time and READ ALONG WITH the recitation, moving your lips and tongue.

This way you get to ‘read’ the Surah (with some ‘help’ from the recitation) AND achieve its rewards In Shaa’ Allah.

 The scholars said:
“If he cannot read it (the Qur’an), then he can repeat after the reciter, especially since it is easy to listen via various means. There are recorded recitations that allow the listener to repeat after the reciter. If he is able to do that, then that is better, In Shaa Allah, and by doing that he will actually have read or recited it, and perhaps he will attain a greater reward for his patience in putting up with the hardship involved in that.

Whoever is not able to do any of that, or it is too difficult for him, so he only listens to what he is able to, then we hope that he will not be deprived of the reward of one who reads or recites, or the virtues narrated about reciting such surahs, if he does what he is able to.” (Islamqa Fatwa # 228366)

And Allaah knows best.

118. Surah Al-Hadid, Aayat No 16

Has not the time yet come for those who believe that their hearts should be humble for the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And that they should not be like those who were given the Book before, but the time became prolonged to them, so their hearts hardened, and most of them are transgressors.

The Heart of a believer can only find rest which the remembrance of Allah Subhanahu wa taala.

When life is in darkness and nothing is right,
Remember just remember through the darkness, ALLAH is The Light.

When nothing makes sense and your heading for demise,
Remember just remember it doesn't make sense but ALLAH is The Wise.

When times are troubled and no one seems to care,
Remember just remember ALLAH won't hurt you, He is The Fair.

When your heart is breaking and your pain makes you fall,
Remember just remember ALLAH Sees it all.

When you are weak and the road seems long,
Remember just remember seek strength from ALLAH, The Strong.

When life is a burden and everything is unstable,
Remember just remember ALLAH is The Able.

When the way is cloudy and there is no one by your side,
Remember just remember ALLAH is The Only guide.

When no one wants to listen or is willing to lend an ear,
Remember just remember ALLAH is always ready To Hear.

When you are poor and penniless and you are stuck in niche,
Remember just remember ALLAH is The Rich.

When you are down in your misery and there is no where to run,
Remember just remember you can always run to ALLAH.

When you are all alone and your pain has no end,
Remember just remember ALLAH is The one to Mend.

And when your scars are hurting and your heart is in fear,
Remember just remember ALLAH is always Here.

Allah Subhanahu wa taala is always there for you no matter what. So turn back to him and remember him.

Big cloudy or small problems He's the solver of them all.

Trust him and In Shaa Allah He'll soon amaze you with miracles designed in your favour.

117. Allah's Justice And Mercy

A Story With A Moral

It related that a woman went to Prophet Dawud alayhi wa sallam and said “O Prophet of Allah; is your Lord an oppressor or is He just?”

Prophet Dawud alayhi wa sallam “Woe unto you, O woman, He is the All-Just, Who never oppresses. What is your story?”

She explained that she was a widow, with three daughters and that she provided for them by what she would spin with her hands. She explained, “Yesterday, I tied what I had spun into a red cloth to sell in the marketplace so as to provide for my children.

As I was walking, a bird came and snatched the cloth of me and flew away, leaving me with nothing to sell for the provision of my children.”

As the woman was speaking to Prophet Dawud alayhi wa sallam someone came knocking on his door.

He gave permission for them to enter and learned that they were ten businessmen bringing with them one hundred dinars each. They said “O Prophet of Allah, give this wealth to one that is deserving.”

Prophet Dawud alayhi wa sallam asked them what had brought them to him with their wealth.

They explained, “O Prophet of Allah, we were on a boat, the wind was very violent, and we were about to drown when a bird came and dropped a red cloth on us.

In this cloth was some yarn and with this we were able to block the hole in the ship until the winds subsided and we vowed that each one of us would give one hundred dinars in charity. So give that amount to whomever you please.”

Prophet Dawud alayhi wa sallam turned to the women and said, “Your Lord does business for you in the land and in the sea, yet you ask whether He oppresses!”

He gave her the 1000 dinars and said, “Spend this on your children.”

Moral:
At times things don’t always go how we want it to go, BUT remember ALLAH is the best of PLANNERS. Oh ALLAH, grant us the ability to have patience and always be happy with what happens.

Abu Hurairah radiyallaahu ‘anhu narrated that the Messenger of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala said:

“Indeed, having good thoughts concerning Allah is from the perfection of the worship of Allah.” [Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3604]
