Imam Ibn ul-Qayyim said:
“Generosity is one of the Attributes of Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala;
He gives and does not take;
He feeds and is not fed; and He is the Most Generous One.
The most beloved to Him is whoever acquires the same traits;
He is Generous and He loves the generous;
He is Knowledgeable and He loves the knowledgeable;
He is Powerful and He loves the courageous; and
He is Beautiful and He loves beauty.”
[al-Wabil as-Sayyib p. 43]
Subhaan Allaah!
Four beautiful traits that Allaah loves!
Let’s acquire these traits and gain the love of our Rabb.
A) *Generosity* — SPEND in the path of Allaah
B) *Knowledge* — start LEARNING the Deen of Allaah
C) *Courage* — Fear NO ONE but Allaah
D) *Beauty* — It’s the beauty INSIDE that counts.
Be the owner of a beautiful heart and soul.
