25. Ramadhaan Half-Way Mark

By Asma bint Shameem

Today is the 15th of Ramadhaan.

Half of this beautiful month has already gone ...

And the next half will fly.

Maybe you didn't get to read as much of the Qur'aan as you had planned.....

Maybe you didn't get that khushoo' in prayer you wanted to achieve....

Perhaps you didn’t make that duaa as sincerely...

Or maybe you didn't control your tongue...

or you lost your temper while fasting....

When we look back at the last two weeks, we ALL wish we could've DONE MORE ... ACHIEVED more....

Well, don't get disheartened and don't give up.

There are still another two weeks of opportunities left.

Alhamdulillaah.

Hasan al-Basri said:
“Improve your performance in what is left (of time) and you will be forgiven for that which has already passed.
So take special care of the time you have left because you do not know when your soul will be turned over to Allaah’s Mercy.”

Ibn al-Jawzi said:
"When the race horse knows that it is nearing the end of the track it exerts all of its effort to win the race.
Do not allow the race horse to be more clever than you.
For verily, deeds are judged by their conclusions.
So if you didn't do well with welcoming Ramadhaan then perhaps you will do better bidding it farewell."

If the first two weeks of this month were not spent to the best of your ability, don’t worry.

There’s still time. Alhamdulillaah

You still have two more weeks to go.

Remember it's not how you begin--rather it's how you END that matters.

The only thing that stands between you and Jannah is the firm determination to try your best and the faith to believe it's possible.

So dream.

And plan.

And believe.

Then put those plans into ACTIONS.

Finish strong!

It's up to YOU!
