329. Putting Qur’aanic Aayaats Or Frames On the Walls

*Most* of the scholars *discourage* having Aayaat or Allaah’s Names etc on the walls or in frames etc. 

And some even said it’s *prohibited*. 

So It’s *best* if we can *totally avoid* hanging Qur’aanic Aayaat or  furnishings, clothes, jewelry . 

The purpose of sending the Qur’aan is not for decoration or to put it up on walls or in frames. 

Rather the purpose of the Qur’aan is to read it, understand it and implement it in our lives, to live a life of obedience and submission to our Creator. 

And hanging the Aayaat of the Qur’aan will not achieve that purpose.
