433. Allaah Sent Prophets All Over The World

1. There were many prophets that were sent to mankind by Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala, and no one knows their exact number. 

Allaah only told us about a FEW prophets. 

Allaah says:

“And Messengers We have mentioned to you before, and Messengers We have not mentioned to you”

[Surah an-Nisa’ :164]. 

2. Allaah sent Prophets ALL OVER the world. 

Allaah says:

“And verily, We have sent among EVERY Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): Worship Allah (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Taghoot (all false deities, etc. i.e. do not worship Taghoot besides Allah)”

[Surah an-Nahl :36]. 

And He said:

“Verily! We have sent you with the truth, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. And there NEVER was a nation but a warner had passed among them.”

[Surah Faatir: 24]

So as we can see from the above Aayaat, Allaah sent Prophets to all nations and all people. 

To assume that He sent them to a specific region only and did not send them to certain places on earth is simply NOT CORRECT. 

Allaah Subhaanahu wa Ta’aala is Most Fair and Most Kind. 

He would NEVER leave out a people without guidance. 

And He would NEVER punish them unless He sent a Messenger to them to call them to Tawheed and Islaam. 

Allaah says:

“And We never punish until We have sent a Messenger (to give warning)”

[Surah al-Isra’ :15]

And He said:

“This is because your Lord would not destroy the (populations of) towns for their wrongdoing (i.e. associating others in worship along with Allah) while their people were unaware (so the Messengers were sent)”

[Surah al-An ‘am :131]. 

So Allaah will never punish a people if guidance did not reach them. 

3. Most of humanity has been concentrated in the Middle East and surrounding areas throughout history. 

And that explains why most of the prophets were sent to this region where most of human population was concentrated. 

The scholars said:

“It is well known that most of the civilizations that were established throughout history were in this area, which is known as the Mediterranean basin, and nearby, in Syria, Egypt, Iraq and Arabia. 

Hence the most populated areas were mostly in these lands. 

So it is very appropriate that most of the Messengers should have been sent to the people of these lands.”

4. Similarly, Allaah sent the previous books in different languages, according to the various nations, not just Arabic. 

 

And Allaah knows best
