Narrated Malik ibn Nadlah radiyallaahu ‘anhu: The Prophet properly, sincerely and moderately said:
"Hands are of three types: Allah's Hand is the upper one; the bestower's hand is the one near it; the beggar's hand is the lower one. So bestow what is surplus, and do not submit yourself to the demand of your soul." (Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 9, Hadith 94)

The ego and the soul may desire more but know that what you have is enough.
Nobody can take away what is meant for you nor what has been measured out for you.
Accept that and show gratitude and then see how your eyes open to the multitude of blessings before you!
Alhamdulillah!
