Narrated `Aisha radiyallaahu ‘anhu: The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and receive good news because one's good deeds will not make him enter Paradise." They asked, "Even you, O Allah's Messenger salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam?" He said, "Even I, unless and until Allah bestows His pardon and Mercy on me." (Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 8, Book 81, Hadith 56)
Do you think your deeds alone will carry you across the bridge of Sirat?
Your actions, intentions, deeds and legacy will benefit you but it is only with Allah's Mercy that you have any of these things and it is only by His permission that you and your loved ones will enter Paradise.
Remember that and remember Him, for Allah's Mercy knows no bounds!
