After sunset the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam proceeded towards
Muzdalifah, following the road of Ma'zimayn- thereby changing the root of the
return journey.
He mounted Usamah bin Zayd behind him and preceded at a moderate pace.
He ordered the people to be calm and patient upon proceeding from Arafat, saying :
