After the rami the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam went to the place of sacrifice and sacrificed sixty-three of the one hundred camels with his own hand.
He gave what remained to Ali, who sacrificed them. Some of the meat was cooked, and the Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam ate from it and ordered the distribution of the meat and skins.
Meat was not given to the butcher as wages for slaughtering meat: rather, he was paid separately.
