72. Visiting Quba Mosque

There is no specific supplication for the Quba mosque, but there is a Hadith concerning it which speaks of rewards. 

The Prophet salallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said:

" Whoever makes ablution at home [ and ] then goes to the Quba Mosque, desiring nothing but prayer, earns the reward equivalent to an Umrah"

It must be noted that there is no religious merit in visiting other mosques or historical sites in Madinah. 

One may do so merely out of interest without considering it an act of worship.
